ProTec starts new cooperation with Dirk Wondrak’s International Discovery Diving Association
Press release January 2024 – ProTec, an innovative company with many years of experience in the diving industry, and Dirk Wondrak’s International Discovery Diving Association are entering into an international cooperation from 2024 to open up new ways of diving for people with disabilities.
The partnership will help to integrate programs for divers with disabilities within ProTec. In collaboration with Dirk Wondrak, a competent plan will be established that will bring significant benefits to both ProTec and Dirk’s International Discovery Diving Association.

Why this step? The answer is clear: our aim is to make diving accessible to everyone and remove barriers. In addition, we at ProTec always aim to offer our customers and all diving enthusiasts a wide range of opportunities. And who better to support us in this speciality than Dirk Wondrak and his organization, which has been known for many years for providing barrier-free diving experiences?
The way forward: building up the “Disabled Divers” division with expertise
How will this process take place? Under the expert leadership of Dirk Wondrak, we will establish the area for Disabled Divers as a speciality division of ProTec. By using the existing ProTec structures, we can ensure that high quality standards are also maintained in this area and that top training is guaranteed.
By integrating new perspectives and skills, we can continue our mission to constantly improve the sport of diving and make it accessible to new audiences.
With this collaboration, both partners are underlining their commitment to a barrier-free and integrative future for diving.
