The ProTec Intro Trimix certification course is an introductory program for using the gas Trimix. Trimix is designed specifically for dives to a depth of maximum 45 meters (depending on gas mixture).
For decades, research has been conducted in order to find the optimal helium-containing breathing mixture for divers. As a result, the trimix – air which is enriched with helium is one of the most widely used. Under an adequate condition the trimix composition makes it possible to explore to far depths with a clear head and no nitrogen dioxide poisoning. The Intro Trimix program is best suited for those who want to get a good impression into technical diving and the usage of Trimix for dives which are still in the border zone of recreational and technical diving.
In this program you will mainly learn to use the gas mixture of Tx21/35 and Tx30/30.
