The ProTec Cave Rescue certification course provides you sufficient knowledge to properly handle emergency situations that can occur during diving in cave systems. You will explore the different types of rescue techniques and learn about the specifics of cave rescue situations.
In addition, you will be taught how to handle the oxygen systems sufficiently and be able to act effectively in an emergency. The specific knowledge of cave rescue techniques applied during this program will make you more confident diving in caves.
Prerequisites
- Minimum age is 20 years old
- Advanced diving skills, which should be proved to the instructor
- Medical statement
- ProTec Full Cave certificate or equivalent. A sufficient practical cave diving experience is preferred
- 1st Aid and CPR (including AED Knowledge) application of a nationally recognized aid organization.
Important! The certificate should not be older than 1 year
- ProTec Oxygen Provider certificate or equivalent is recommended
