Description
As a ProTec Instructor Trainer or ProTec IC Inspector you have the highest and most respected professional level in the sport dive industry. You may guide advanced divers to a professional future in their diving career. The selection and admission to the Instructor Trainer certification course is a subject of strict criteria.
- The first stage, Assistant Instructor Trainer, authorizes you, supervised by an ICI, to train Instructor candidates during an IDC.
- Next our main Instructor Trainer level, simple short named IT, authorizes you to train and check Instructor candidates during an IDC and further enhanced Instructor levels. For each special or technical Instructor level you need also the authorization as an IT.
- As a ProTec Instructor Course Inspector (IC Inspector or ICI) you will be authorized to additionally check (4-eyes principle) the instructor candidates during an IE.
This is a part of our quality assurance program. The ICI also helps with trainer development.

Prerequisites
- Minimum age for IT is 24 years old, for ICI is 28 years old
- Excellent diving fitness
- Medical statement
- For IT level a ProTec Master Scuba Instructor certificate with sufficient experience
- For ICI level a ProTec IT certificate with sufficient experience
